Avoiding Procrastination

When you have two opposing, but equally strong beliefs, the result is procrastination. A tug-of-war that can only be won if you excavate what is at the core of your story. For example, some people want to feel their power but somewhere lurking under the surface is a belief that power is dangerous. Hence, every time they inch forward in their career or start to enjoy a bit of forward momentum, it is followed by a set-back or worse, procrastination which is self-induced. There’s nothing wrong with you. You just have to decide which belief you want to make stronger but you can’t do that until you figure out what you believe. Get out your tools and start digging. The quicker you unearth your beliefs, and get to know what they are, the more efficiently you can focus on
what you want and move your energy forward. To hell with procrastinating when you can accomplish your goals. So what do you believe?
